Use of colour for its own sake, as a viable end in art.
Rich surface texture, with awareness of the paint.
Spontaneity – lines drawn on canvas, and suggested by texture of paint.
Use of clashing (primary) colours, playing with values and intensities.
The three main characteristics of Fauvism were the use of bold, bright colors; Simplified forms and Emotional expressions in the art.
Fauvism was a movement in early 20th-century French art that emphasized bold, bright colors and simplified forms. Fauvist artists used vivid, intense colors that were often unrealistic or exaggerated.
Fauvism was driven by a desire to express emotion and to capture the subjective experience of the world. Fauvist artists often used color and form to convey a sense of joy, excitement, or even violence in their works, rejecting the traditional emphasis on realistic representation in art.

During the economic downturns of 2008 and 2009, many US restaurant companies struggled to avoid heavy losses. However, some still managed to outperform the market and even made large profits in the midst of widespread economic difficulties. McDonald's was one such company..."(Yoon et al, 2013)
If you are asking/wondering if this affected their business(ess) then I would have to say yes. I said yes because it says "Many US restaurant companies struggled to avoid heavy losses." (key word(s) is/are Avoid and Struggled to) which means some of them, including McDonalds probably did avoid this and some other McDonald's didn't avoid this.

Who introduced the idea of using every musical note or count in order to
mirror the rhythmic patterns of the music?
Explanation:
Rhythm, in music, the placement of sounds in time. In its most general sense, rhythm (Greek rhythmos, derived from rhein, “to flow”) is an ordered alternation of contrasting elements. The notion of rhythm also occurs in other arts (e.g., poetry, painting, sculpture, and architecture) as well as in nature (e.g., biological rhythms).

Attempts to define rhythm in music have produced much disagreement, partly because rhythm has often been identified with one or more of its constituent, but not wholly separate, elements, such as accent, metre, and tempo. As in the closely related subjects of verse and metre, opinions differ widely, at least among poets and linguists, on the nature and movement of rhythm. Theories requiring “periodicity” as the sine qua non of rhythm are opposed by theories that include in it even nonrecurrent configurations of movement, as in prose or plainchant

Who knows this song? It seems like a lifetime ago
That I saw the gold sunshine glow
No it doesn't reach down below
Shadows become the light
Here where the monsters hide
Normal is just a dream
For all the ghosts like me
I hate my metal bones
My bones and gears creak in my chest
My chest forever cold
A cold and maddening descent
Descending down so far
Fall farther 'til there's nothing left
I'm left here in the dark
The dark
I dance to forget
This is my penitentiary
Fractured apart from the world where I want to be
Lock the door throw away the key
And let my dance resume
Down in a pitch black room
Normal is just a dream
For all the ghosts like me
(Like me)

Question: Choose one composer from one of the music periods. Write a one page (3 paragraph) essay. Make sure to explain, what do you like about the composer and his music. Use your own words.
Answer: Claude Debussy Essay
Explanation:
Claude Debussy was a french composer who died the year 1918 in Paris, France. He was mainly known for his creative and very original harmonies in his pieces. His effects originality did not only influence many musicians, but also many famous impressionist painters and writers of his time. His impactful aspect is one of the things I like most about him. The way he could not only influence other composers, but also all artists in general. I like also like a lot of the artists he influenced heavily. It sort of made his music into a painting.
His most famous piece, "Moonlight", especially impacted the way future musicians wrote their music. Personally, my favorite piece composed by Claude Debussy is "The opéra Pelléas et Mélisande". I like this piece because of the symbolic message it conveys to the listener. It represents a sad story of a women waiting for her love. It is similar to a Rapunzel situation. Instead of lanterns, she is infatuated by the lights. The music especially helps capture the tone and feeling of the opera. Speaking of feeling and tone, that is another aspect of Debussy that I like. I think that he is one of the best at conveying it through music. "The opéra Pelléas et Mélisande" truly shows the talent Claude Debussy had throughout his whole life.
Another thing I enjoy about Claude Debussy is his passion for his music. Throughout his whole life he truthfully really enjoyed what he did--which drove his passion forward continuously. He was even offered a three year stay at Villa Medici to pursue the creative aspect of his music. It was the chance of a lifetime that very few people were able to endure. Instead of staying there though, he ran away from the opportunity so that he could be able to compose anything he wanted, not just what they wanted him to compose just for a chance of more publicity. Because of this he made less money--but he didn't care, because he was doing what he loved.
