I understand this is something tragic but sometimes it’s better to just tell them rather than hiding it. Now it’s ofc still up to you on whether or not to tell him, but no matter what, make sure to call some place that will fix it, now instead of waiting bc sometimes it can take several days or weeks to get your car looked at. :) I hope this helps you.
