Her beauty was beyond compare

She had locks of golden hair.

The lonely mother awaited to meet her.

Cursed to be stuck in a house

The ghosts continued to haunt her

Her lost friends and her lost spouse

But she had a boy with raven black hair

And he loved a maiden fair,

They befriended the ghosts in the ghostly town

The mother lived in despair.

The mother had found a way out,

But she needed her boy with raven black hair

To leave his fair maiden with the house

And the ghost could be her friends.

She was once like the maiden,

She also found fascination  in the ghosts

But her beloved spouse was harshly taken

And now all that remains is his ghost.

The maidens boy with raven black hair left

But told her the house is yours

Her heart in pieces within her chest

And a child which is yet to be born.

The fair maiden became a mother

A lonely mother at that

The ghosts turned to make her suffer

Years pass and so has his mother

A joyous loving mother

He decides to go back home

Forgetting he left it with another

About to open the door

But soon he remembers what he left there

On the other side of that beautiful door.

Inside sat a little boy,

Playing all on his own

He yearns for his mother to be once again not alone

Walks through the old dark house, it was nothing new,

He stumbles upon a little boy

And his wife goes why oh why does he look like you

There he sees him sit, playing all on his own

He begins to cry for his mother

His very lonely mother

And she soon comes rushing in.

In front of her stands a love she used to know

A wife on his arm and a daughter below.

And infront of him stood the maiden he used to know,

She looked just like his mother all those years ago

The ghosts of the Manor start screaming the maidens name

Telling her he was a danger

Telling her he was to blame

But the maiden kept walking as the ghosts were haunting

inviting in the family all the same.

The little boy was kissed goodnight

And the maiden just stared

At what could have been her

It was almost to much to be beared

He decides to leave,

He was the man with raven black hair ,

He decided the maiden to pitiful,

To be the love He once shared

And so he exits the home with his family,

He Didn't even give a farewell

The lonely mother cried, as she loses her sanity

Not knowing he took another thing aswell.

The ghosts scream louder

this time a different phrase in her head

She ignores the ghosts instead.

But as she goes to the little boys room

She realised the ghosts were calling someone else,

And so she stepped of the ledge and fell to her doom.

And there they built her a tomb

The ghosts were never trying to haunt her

They wanted to keep her safe

But as it were

She was too hurt, she forever had felt un safe

The raven haired boys cradle lay empty

He had been taken far away from his home

The quest to find The lonely mother tempted he,

For he knew the family who had stole him would never be his home.

And so the raven haired boy adventures back

To the place he only ever called home

He brings some roses, painted all black

As he goes and visits her tomb.

I have loved you ever since,

I hope you can rest easy now
