A rhyme scheme is the pattern of rhymes of a poem or a song. In order to discover the rhyme scheme of a poem, we have to look at the way each line ends. School garden supporters say that the gardens teach to the whole child. One of the strongest benefits is to social and emotional learning. Research shows that schools with a social and emotional learning program can increase test scores by 11% and positive classroom behavior by 9%.
School garden opponents say that the gardens take away from academic time. As other countries’ test scores are on the rise, America’s test scores continue to lag behind. The only true way to achieve financial success is to be well educated. Opponents say that no one wants gardens banned; they just don’t think school is the place for this type of learning.
Write a brief summary of the claims on both sides of the argument. Are these strong or weak claims? Make sure to use textual evidence to support your writing. Your answers should be between 4-6 sentences long.
Answer:
All though the two arguments are correct, I lean towards the 2nd argument. School gardens do not improve student's scores as they would if the student was well educated. The student will not learn from a garden. The surroundings will be better but can not help them. As it states in the second claim "America’s test scores continue to lag behind". Even if we have school gardens. But, the first argument is right in a way if the student is already well educated and knows the curriculum there surrounding may improve their learning by wanting to learn because they are more comfortable. These claims are strong because they do have facts and claims from others. They lean towards one side and are informative.

When Geraldine looked to the sky, she was amazed by what she saw. The tail from a comet cut across the sky like a knife through butter. It was the first time she had seen one in real life. Every comet she had seen up until now came from a book.
She almost didn't see it at first. The stars hung in the sky like a million eyes blinking and winking down at Geraldine. Geraldine wasn't even thinking about them or the campfire or the woods. Her mind was someplace else, and she had her mind on a lot of different things. She was thinking about how she was going to pay for college. She was thinking about graduation. She was thinking about everything but the sky. The last time that she was in the woods was when she was a little girl. It seemed so foreign to her. As her mind wandered, that's when the comet appeared. It was almost like it had read her thoughts. It passed over her head, and she traced its path with her finger like she was waving a magic wand.

Lucia is paraphrasing this passage from Through the Looking-Glass to help her understand what she reads. However, the egg only got larger and larger, and more and more human: when she had come within a few yards of it, she saw that it had eyes and a nose and mouth; and when she had come close to it, she saw clearly that it was HUMPTY DUMPTY himself. “It can't be anybody else!” she said to herself. “I'm as certain of it, as if his name were written all over his face.” It might have been written a hundred times, easily, on that enormous face. Humpty Dumpty was sitting with his legs crossed, like a Turk, on the top of a high wall—such a narrow one that Alice quite wondered how he could keep his balance—and, as his eyes were steadily fixed in the opposite direction, and he didn't take the least notice of her, she thought he must be a stuffed figure after all. “And how exactly like an egg he is!” she said aloud, standing with her hands ready to catch him, for she was every moment expecting him to fall. Which detail does Lucia need to avoid in her paraphrase? .
A.The egg is Humpty Dumpty.

Trapped inside a Book!
It was a bright and beautiful morning the day of Friday the 13th, year 1982. Marie Spade, a writer of many books, was finishing up her 18th book! Her book was about a brave princess/knight who lived in France and her adventures. who lived in France back After she finished, she went grocery shopping. It was a pretty normal day, from then on, but Marie had no clue what was going to happen that night!
Marie was about to go to sleep until her book opened up by itself! A bright gold light shone out of the book. Then all of a sudden Marie noticed something different. She was in the book!
Marie didn't notice what book she was in until she saw someone she recognized. She saw the brave princess/knight Katie Adair! That was the main character in HER book. Then she finally realized it all, she was trapped inside her own book! "But why" she wondered. Then Katie explained why she was called into the book. The Daesh, an enemy of France, had started attacking them not long after Marie had finished with the book.
(Plz help me!!)
Answer:
If anything seems weird to you, you can change it around or anything you need to do. I hope this helps!
Explanation:
"What?!" cried Marie, staring stricken at the knight who looked so sullen, so meloncholy, and oh so tired. "That surely can't be true. I made a point to have the French government sign a treaty ensuring peace between them and the Daesh!"
"Indeed you did," Katie sighed heavily. "We watched closely from our world when you wrote the last of our great journey. But the Daesh were not quite so keen to live beside us in peace. No, they took the treaty and burned it right before Her Majesty, then slaughtered everyone in the castle, sparing noone but a weak mesenger to spread the news of the queen's demise. We knights heard too late, and by the time we had arrived in Paris, the crowds were mad with fear. The castle gates were heavily guarded, and in a foolish attempt to determine the truth of the news, six of my fellow knights were slayed. I'm afraid there is noone left to save our country, except me, three of my brave comrades, and you, dearest author."
Marie's chest clenched, skin paling rapidly, and as she attempted to catch her breath, black crawled from the edges into her sight, enveloping the once-mighty swordswoman and everything around her. The last thing the writer saw before falling to the ground was an exhausted worry splayed across her heroine's face.
She jer ked awake, brow covered in sweat. "Was that really all just a dream?" she whispered amazedly to herself. Had she really just imagined herself in such an intense and deeply worrying place, one that she had always thought of as a utopia? "Incredible!" Marie wobbled herself out of her bed and wandered over to the finished trasncript of her latest book. She sat down at her desk, picked up a pen, and began writing a new ending to her book, this time including the mysterious events in her dream, so that she, Marie Spade, could turn her heroic novel into an even more incredible series.
