Was the creation and maintenance of slavery in America based mainly on Economic, Social (racial), or political reasons?
Paragraph 1 - Intro and thesis
Paragraph 2 - Main argument
Paragraph 3 - Counter argument or reasons why the other 2 choices aren't the best answer
Paragraph 4- Conclusion with thesis restated and a final argument to convince the reader
You can write an essay claiming that the creation and maintenance of slavery in America was based mainly on economic reasons, as seen below.
Essay on the reasons for slaveryAlthough we cannot write an essay for you here, we can provide you with ideas. The topics below provide ideas concerning the claim that slavery had economic reasons.
Paragraph 1: Open the essay by contextualizing the horrors of slavery - how many people were trafficked from Africa to America, for example, and how they were treated. Ask a rhetorical question as to why such an atrocity was allowed for so long. Answer with your thesis statement, in which you ascertain that slavery was created and maintained due to economic reasons.Paragraph 2: Extend you claim by arguing that slavery would not have existed nor would it have been kept for so long if it weren't for the desire for profit. Slaves represented cheap, almost free labor. Their productivity was not comparable to that of paid laborers. They had no rights whatsoever, so they were not paid in any manner and were not allowed to rest.Paragraph 3: The first counterargument would be that slavery had racial/social reasons. Here, your rebuttal can state that race was no longer an issue when white people realized they could profit more by making slaves free. All of a sudden, race stopped being a problem. The second counterargument would be that it had political reasons. Here, your rebuttal can state that those political reasons were directly connected to the economy. It was not a political ideology that created or maintained slavery, but the fact that many of the most prominent political figures profited from it.Conclusion: This is just a wrap-up for your essay. Restate your claim with different words and briefly. The topics above concerning the creation and maintenance of slavery can help you write an effective essay.

Which situation archetype is used in this excerpt?
A. death and rebirth
B. a task
C. a battle of good and evil
D. a quest
Here’s the excerpt:
Read the excerpt from The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald. Then, use the archetypes chart to answer the question.
Now in these subterranean caverns lived a strange race of beings, called by some gnomes, by some kobolds, by some goblins. There was a legend current in the country that at one time they lived above ground, and were very like other people. But for some reason or other, concerning which there were different legendary theories, the king had laid what they thought too severe taxes upon them, or had required observances of them they did not like, or had begun to treat them with more severity in some way or other, and impose stricter laws; and the consequence was that they had all disappeared from the face of the country. According to the legend, however, instead of going to some other country, they had all taken refuge in the subterranean caverns, whence they never came out but at night, and then seldom showed themselves in any numbers, and never to many people at once. It was only in the least frequented and most difficult parts of the mountains that they were said to gather even at night in the open air. . . . In the process of time they had got a king, and a government of their own, whose chief business, beyond their own simple affairs, was to devise trouble for their neighbors.
Here’s the archetypes chart in case you need it.
The C. '"a battle of good and evil " situation archetype is used in the excerpt.
Archetypes are fundamental, universal images of persons, emotions, and personalities that influence how people act. According to Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung's view, these archetypes represent ancient variations of the innate wisdom that our ancestors passed down to us.
According to archetypal literary criticism, societal and psychological myths influence a text's meaning and affect the form and function of literary works. Cultural archetypes are the unknowable fundamental forms that are personified or made tangible through recurrent images, symbols, or patterns (which may include motifs like "the quest" or "heavenly ascent," recognizable character types like "trickster," "saint," "martyr," or "hero," as well as imagery and symbols like the apple or the snake) and that have all been pre-loaded with meaning.

Write three paragraphs in response to a fiction text of your choosing. In the first paragraph, introduce the text, the author, the
key characters, and the topics. In the second paragraph, explain one theme from the text, citing evidence from the text to
support your explanation. In the final paragraph, describe your personal connection to the text, its characters, and its theme.
The selected text is from the novel "Pride and Prejudice." There are two people in it who are also the focal points of Jane Austen's novel. Elizabeth Benet and Mr. Darcy are these individuals.
The sentence from Pride and Prejudice alludes to the point when Elizabeth's perception of Mr. Darcy transforms as a result of his assistance to her family during a trying time. This meant that instead of seeing him as haughty and haughty, Elisabeth now saw him as a kind and respectable man.
Elizabeth, as has already been mentioned, did not think highly of Mr. Darcy. She considered him to be haughty, boastful, miserly, and cruel. But at a time when the Bennet family's finances are precarious, he supports her family. In addition to assisting them, Mr. Darcy does so selflessly and maintains that neither Elizabeth nor any member of her family needs to express gratitude or share the good deed with others. Just knowing that the Bennet family is doing well is enough for him.
I am drawn to this text because of Mr. Darcy's behavior toward those for whom he has no obligation but who are in need of assistance. He assisted them even though they would never be able to pay him back. This event serves as a reminder to me to be nice and supportive of everyone, no of their circumstances.

The Time Traveller (for so it will be convenient to speak of him) was expounding a recondite (adj. difficult to grasp or understand) matter to us. His pale grey eyes shone and twinkled, and his usually pale face was flushed and animated. The fire burnt brightly, and the soft radiance of the incandescent lights in the lilies of silver caught the bubbles that flashed and passed in our glasses. Our chairs, being his patents (n. Inventions), embraced and caressed us rather than submitted to be sat upon, and there was that luxurious after-dinner atmosphere, when thought runs gracefully free of the trammels of precision. And he put it to us in this way—marking the points with a lean forefinger—as we sat and lazily admired his earnestness over this new paradox (as we thought it) and his fecundity (adj. ability to produce many ideas).

Question 4 options:
Left school. We
Sing sin. We

The line from "We Real Cool" shows the best example of the literary device, alliteration is B. Sing sin.
What is an alliteration?Alliteration is a literary device that involves the prominent repetition of the first consonant sounds of surrounding words in a phrase. "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers," for example.
Alliteration is a literary style borrowed from Latin that means "alphabet letters." It occurs when two or more words with the same first consonant sound, such as "fish fry," are linked.
Alliteration is a helpful sound mechanism employed in a variety of literary genres, but most notably in poetry. Alliteration is used by businesses and advertisements to draw attention to corporate names and products. Alliteration is used in many notable phrases and sayings. This is due to the recurrence of consonant sounds at the start of words, which allows for rhythm and melody. It also makes a statement easier to remember and more enjoyable to read or utter aloud.

please help My life as a teenager in Colonial America would have been different from my life as a teenager in America today. Although differences would appear in almost every aspect of my life, I will compare the two time periods just in terms of chores, education, and recreation.
For example, the chores I do today are quite different from those I would have done in colonial days. I usually just have to make my bed, keep my room clean, and help clear the table after supper. Sometimes I have to wash the dishes and take out the trash, but not all the time. In colonial days, though, I might have had to get up at sunrise to milk the cows or gather chicken eggs. I also might have had to chop firewood and start a fire before breakfast. Worse yet, I not only would have washed the dishes, but also might have had to haul water from a well before I could wash them! School would also have been different in colonial days. Today I study six different subjects in six different rooms with six different teachers. Back then, I probably would have been in a one-room schoolhouse. One teacher would have taught all subjects and grades, and we probably would have studied reading and writing mostly, without many choices of electives. Other chores I might have had to do include plowing the field, planting crops, or cleaning out the barn.
Similarly, what I would have done for recreation in colonial days is different from what I do now. Today I like to play video games, watch TV, or listen to CDs. Back then, those things wouldn’t even have existed. I probably would have run races. Maybe I would have drawn pictures in the dirt with a stick. Teenagers managed to have fun back then even without modern inventions.

Answer:Anonymity, asynchronous communication, and empathy deficit
Explanation:
Anonymity, asynchronous communication, and empathy deficit contribute to online disinhibition. Anonymity can make a person feel safe online, like a different person; one might even take on a new persona.
Explanation:For example, a group of students might bully a classmate online and then feel encouraged to force him or her in person. There have been several well-documented cases of online bullying leading to organized efforts to ostracize classmates and severe depression in victims. The ODE has positive consequences like more accessible self-expression and negative consequences like cyberbullying.
