The two language subfamilies spoken on the island of Cyprus on the Coast of Turkey are Altaic and Hellenic
Speakers of the Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungusic language families are currently dispersed in some eastern parts of Europe, extending in longitude from Turkey to Japan. Altaic is a controversial proposed language family. The Altai mountain range in the middle of Asia inspired the group's name.
The majority of comparative linguists have long rejected the hypothetical language family, but a small but stable group of academics continue to support it.
Greek is the primary member of the Indo-European language family, which includes the Hellenic branch. Greek proper and other varieties that are thought to be related but distinct enough to be distinct languages are collectively referred to as the Hellenic group. These varieties can be found either among ancient neighboring languages or among modern Greek varieties.

The Seychelles made a ground-breaking deal in 2015 to write off about $22 million (£16.8 million) of its national debt in lieu for the nation taking additional steps to save its waters in an effort to increase resilience to climate change and strengthen its blue economy.
Less than 100,000 people live in the Seychelles, which has one of the lowest GDPs in the world. Their income is largely derived from fishing and marine tourism.
The nation's marine ecology, which supports more than two thirds of the local economy, is under threat from plastic pollution, climate change, and overfishing. In certain places, the Seychelles has already lost up to 90% of its coral reefs since a massive bleaching episode in 1998. The country is also quite susceptible to coastal erosion and flooding.
According to a new analysis by more than 100 scientists and economists, expanding the number of protected areas would have a significant positive impact on the world economy. The Seychelles understood the advantages that protecting the oceans may have.

Nights and Dragons
—from the memoir of author Abigail Prynne
1
I sit at my desk listening to thunder growl outside my window. Flashes of light burst through the darkness, and wind races past my window. The thrilling combination of sight and sound conjures up visions of dragons roaring proudly, breathing fire, and soaring across the midnight sky. Dragons first fascinated me when I was a little girl. They have followed me ever since. The magnificent creatures appeared in storybooks I read in the library, paintings I saw in museums, movies I watched in the theater, and the dreams I had in my sleep. By the time I was thirteen, one question consumed me. Determined to discover if dragons could have actually existed, I set out on a quest for facts.
2
As I started my research, I discovered many skeptics. Scientists presented evidence to show why dragons could not – and did not – exist. They explained that it would be impossible for dragons to fly because they were too big. They laughed at the idea of dragons breathing fire. They pointed out that no other animal has ever done this. They said that if dragons had lived, someone would have found remains somewhere in the world. No bones about it, there were plenty of logical explanations. It would have been easy for me to accept that the only place dragons ever existed was in the imaginations of those who believed.
3
I could have given up, but I thought about my grandmother. She always told me that "people who believe that science is the answer to everything are missing out on everything else." With her words in mind, I read more about dragons. I noticed that cultures across the world all described dragons in similar ways. This was odd because they had no way to communicate with each other. I found notes about dragons in old legal papers and in the travel logs of people like Marco Polo. Dragons were also mentioned in the Bible. I saw that the Chinese calendar uses a different animal each year. Dragons are included along with eleven real animals. I began to believe it was a real possibility that all of these people were talking about a creature that actually existed.
4
With renewed hope that there was some truth to the legends, I looked for new research. I found that some experts disagreed with popular arguments against dragons. They suggested that a dragon could have four stomachs like a cow. If it created stomach gases like birds, it might create enough to lift itself off the ground. This would give it the ability to fly. If it forced out air when diving toward the earth, it might release gases which could ignite into flame. When the animal died, the stomachs would release strong acids that would dissolve its dead body over time. Biologists backed up these ideas with sketches and models based on known animals. Not everyone agreed with these ideas, but many of the things we accept about dinosaurs and other extinct species started the same way.
5
I doubt we will ever truly know whether dragons existed. There may always be two sides to the fiery debate. Some will say the stories come from active imaginations. Some will believe with all their hearts that the legendary creatures roamed our ancient world. I don't know for certain which side to believe, but the sound and fury of a night like this makes me smile. It rekindles my childhood dreams and keeps the exciting possibility alive.
(( I need till tomorrow pls write an effective summary of the story.)) I will give brainliest if it's correct.

Reread the information from sections 10:39-11:36 of the transcript of "For More Wonder, Rewild the World." 10:39 And the opportunities for this are developing more rapidly than you might think possible. There's one estimate which suggests that in the United States, two thirds of the land which was once forested and then cleared has become reforested as loggers and farmers have retreated, particularly from the eastern half of the country. There's another one which suggests that 30 million hectares of land in Europe, an area the size of Poland, will be vacated by farmers between 2000 and 2030. 11:12 Now, faced with opportunities like that, does it not seem a little unambitious to be thinking only of bringing back wolves, lynx, bears, beavers, bison, boar, moose, and all the other species which are already beginning to move quite rapidly across Europe? Perhaps we should also start thinking about the return of some of our lost megafauna. What inference can be made based on this information?
A) By having a vast difference in climate between past and present, we have lost the potential to bring back the original species that lived in certain areas.
B) By removing the human element from vast stretches of land, we have the potential to reintroduce species of animals and plants that have long since disappeared.
C) The speaker believes that areas that have been exploited by farmers and loggers have the lowest potential to be restored to their natural state.
D) The speaker considers these areas to have the potential to be repopulated by humans.
Answer:
c
Explanation:
B) By removing the human element from vast stretches of land, we have the potential to reintroduce species of animals and plants that have long since disappeared.
The speaker provides specific examples of areas of land that are becoming reforested and land that will be vacated by farmers in the near future, suggesting that these areas now have the potential to be restored to their natural state. He also notes that certain species are already beginning to move back across Europe, and suggests that the opportunity to reintroduce even more species, including lost megafauna, should be considered. All this information indicate that there is an opportunity to reintroduce species of animals and plants that have long since disappeared by removing the human element from vast stretches of land.

Explanation
The definition of hamartia is "a fatal flaw leading to the downfall of a tragic hero or heroine". In this context, the hero chose to marry his mother despite killing his father. A flaw that lead to his downfall. In normal 21 century society, that isn't normal. I also fact checked that statement, and there is no mention of sons marrying their mothers. The only "weird" relationships that history mentions were those of incest. Anyhow, when using the process of elimination, it isn't hubris since that means excessive ego. It also isn't parados because that is a part of an outdoor greek theatre. Stasimon is also incorrect because stasimon is a choral ode between 2 parts of a greek play. As per the citation, I would assume that page 9 isn't in the middle of this play because it isn't short. Therefore it isn't a stationary part. Final verdict - hamartia. Hope this helps :)

Yet you risked everything here. Why? Why did you do it? What impelled you to put aside the instinct for self-preservation and risk your lives to take these cliffs? What inspired all the men of the armies that met here? We look at you, and somehow we know the answer. It was faith, and belief; it was loyalty and love." (Also got right on the test)

what is the difference between implicit and explicit details about John F .Kennedy's Dream about going to the moon or putting someone on the moon?

Why send men to the moon?President John F. Kennedy was determined to send astronauts to the moon, which was a dangerous and expensive enterprise. We can connect both explicit and implicit details to that decision, as seen below.
Explicit details are the ones that are obvious and clear, or the ones that are stated openly. Kennedy would explicitly claim that the purpose of the space program and of sending men to the moon was to test and develop America's skills.
However, the implicit details of such a program revealed that it was a decision taken in the light of the Cold War. The space program in America was in covert competition with the space program in Russia. And whichever country could place a man on the moon first would be seen as the winner.
