However, Ji-Suk has learned that she does not have to comply with everything to honor her heritage. Her mother is gone, and Ji-Suk has dropped law to open her own food truck. Even though pulled to one side by her mother's traditions, Ji-Suk was able to find a common ground.
Now, she must learn to deal with changes as well. Her own son, Seo-Jun, is quite different than she is. Ji-Suk does not want to do to him what her mother did to her, which is why she does not force him to do anything. If Seo-Jun is to embrace his heritage, he must do it out of willingness.
