Answer:

I have a story called the little green fish...

It goes a bit like this:

Story:

One day In a pond swam a little green fish.

Of course what happened? Well... Nobody knows yet!

The little green fish was a tiny cute fish, he always had a little bit of a temper though.

So one day came a group of pond animals.

The animals were these:

Three Frogs.

Two Dragonflies.

One Snail.

And another little fish!

Except this little fish was blue, not green, and she was quite pretty.

Then in one line the animals all hopped flew and walked to the pond.

Then they all asked the fish one by one.

Can we stay with you? Our owner kicked us out! Now we have no place to go.

Then the little fish dismissed them all away with his little bad temper, then they all went away.

Then the little blue fish, the girl as they say, was getting carried in a little round bowl.

Of course no one knew what the bowl was so the little green fish finally let them stay.

They lived happily ever after in the pond for ever and ever.

And the little green and blue fish multiplied faster than ever.

The End.

Answer:

I was asked to switch from third grade to fourth grade this year.

I'm enjoying the change, but one of the realities I'm facing is the increased

emphasis on writing instruction. Third graders learn how to write paragraphs,

while fourth graders learn how to write with paragraphs.

Consequently, I've turned to the five paragraph essay: an effective, flexible starting

point for young writers.

Like it or not, the five paragraph format is effective. There's something

appealing about introducing a topic, expanding on it in three, detailed

paragraphs and finishing with a succinct conclusion. If you can give three good

reasons for holding an opinion, then you’ve got something. If you can’t, then

you don’t. As there was no way I could come up with three good reasons why my

mom should let me play with the lawn darts after my trip to the emergency room,

the darts stayed hidden. Understanding the five-paragraph format is a useful

tool for anyone with an opinion or an agenda.

It’s flexible.

Not only does it work as an essay, but it also comes in handy when writing

short stories. You introduce the characters and setting in the first paragraph,

throw in a beginning, middle and end and wrap up the story with a fifth

paragraph and boom: you’ve got yourself a story. Other uses come quickly to

mind: fairy tales, pourquoi tales, even the standard three-part joke can trace

its roots to the five-paragraph format. Once you’ve mastered the five paragraph

essay, the sky’s the limit.

Although

teachers and assessors may tire of the five-part, formulaic pablum put forth by

fourth graders, working with young writers is a challenging endeavor. Good

teachers know how to use scaffolds; and the five-part format is just that.

Think of it as a literary algorithm. Or better yet, imagine John Coltrane or

Andre Previn in their youth, banging out “Hot Cross Buns” and “Ode to Joy”

while their parents patiently endured those tough times, knowing their future

virtuosos had to master the basics before they could conquer the world. Like it

or not, kids are not born knowing how to write.

There’s no

shame in teaching the five paragraph essay. Not for me, anyway. Writing is

easily the most complicated thing we teach. Students need a place to start;

something they can grasp and understand and then improvise on. It's time to give the time-honored five-parter it's due.

Aristotle writes, "A man doesn’t become a hero until he can see the root of his own downfall." Do you agree with this idea? Why or why not?

Answers

Answer:

I agree with  the idea of  Aristotle's that "A man doesn’t become a hero until he can see the root of his own downfall."

Explanation:

Aristotle believes that only real heroes can identify their weakness and furthermore prevent it. In the days of the theater of ancient Greece, this statement led to more complex characters like Aristotle's tragic hero. A tragic hero can be defined as a person who begins with a higher honor and aristocrat. Suffering from the tragic flaw or Hamartia that causes his fall. Experience the knowledge that leads him to see from the blind. Face his downfall with honor and dignity. He makes the audience and choir feel compassionate and afraid.   Oedipus Rex shows that the title character has regained its heroic status. Oedipus acted heroically, blinding himself shortly after revealing the shocking truth, claiming his own death or asylum as a punishment for killing his father increase.

The cultures presented have very different habits from each other. These habits can be viewed negatively by different cultures, but all must be respected.

The respective cultures are not the same as the cultures present on the American continent, nor do they present aspects of the monotheistic religions, which are more common in that continent.

Some of these cultures have negative habits regarding the way children and women are treated.

Cultures should not be considered wrong, however, cultural aspects that inflict human rights must be abandoned.

It is common for us to think that our culture is better than that of others, but we must be able to understand the differences between cultures and identify positive and negative points in our culture and foreign cultures.

What does it mean to include illustrations in a project? What are illustrations?

Answers

Answer: illustrations = drawings

Explanation:

i think illustrations r drawings

like you know illustrators are people who draw for books

so include drawings in your project

Answer:

Pictures  or examples!

Explanation:

Depends on the project you are working on but if you are creating a poster board or a slide show and a professor has asked you to include illustrations you should include pictures or photos that help explain your project further. This is to help keep people/ your audience engaged. People are more likely to remember things with visual pictures or examples. If a professor is asking you to make a speech and provide illustrations they may mean not only visual aspects, like pictures, but also clear examples of what you are talking about. For example, if you are making a speech about training dogs you could provide pictures or videos for your audience. But you can also go into detail about stories and examples verbally to explain things more clearly.

The Line from Stanza 9 of Anne Bradstreet's poem "Verses on the Burning of our House" is included to show that author B- has rejected the value of earthly things.

Anne Bradstreet's poem is a recollection of the event involving the loss of her house to fire in which she lost all her earthly possessions

She must live with the consolation that God is the owner of all things. God is also capable of replacing all the lost possessions.

Faith in God is required to sustain one's being in this life. No one can insure his life. Anne Bradstreet eulogizes the glory of the heavenly house that awaits the righteous.

Thus, earthly wealth must be evaluated from the point of view that they remain ephemeral, unlike heavenly wealth.

Write:What does the narrator mean that her
mother became "small in living her life"?

Answers

I’m not sure what book you’re referring to, but I can still attempt to analyze the phrase. It could mean that her mother lived quietly and didn’t step out of place. She was undisruptive.

The narrator mean that her mother became "small in living her life" is a metaphorical way of expressing that the mother's life started to feel constrained, limited, or diminished in some way.

The phrase "became small in living her life" refers to a situation where the narrator's mother started to limit herself and shrink her experiences and opportunities in life. This could be due to various reasons such as self-doubt, external pressures, or personal setbacks. . The metaphor of "small" could be used to describe how the mother's enthusiasm, or sense of fulfillment has been reduced, making her life feel less vibrant.

Essentially, it implies that the mother's actions, choices, and overall way of living began to narrow down, possibly resulting in missed opportunities for personal growth, and fulfillment. The phrase carries a sense of diminished vitality.

A. Mom read the novel in one day.

B. I will clean the house every Saturday.

C. The company requires the staff to watch a safety video every year.

D. Tom painted the entire house.

E. The teacher always answers the students' questions.

Explanation:

In order to rewrite the sentence into an active sentence, we first need to determine the subject. In other words, we need to find out who or what is performing the action.

For example, let's take the sentence “The ball was kicked by the little girl.”

In this sentence, all the ball is doing is sitting there. The girl, however, is performing the action of kicking the ball, which would make her our subject.

Next, we move the subject to the beginning of the sentence and then describe the action and what or who is affected by it. So “The ball was kicked by the little girl” can be rewritten to “The little girl kicked the ball.”
