Write a speech to be given in a school assembly, giving your views on whether or not students should participate in decisions made about the school.
Answer:
This is just my opinion. I think I kinda went of topic and I think some words are misspelled. lol
Explanation:
Dear Faculty and Staff,
I have written this speech in regards to the view on the impact of student having a say in what brought foward and introduced into the school system. Most students feel that they are being controlled and that most of their creative outlets are being flushed out. You expect us to follow the rules that are biased the the society we live in put in our faces. We at least have the right as free children deserve a say in how we live our day to day lives in these school systems. We act out in defiance due to not being heard or understood. You expect us to be compliant with the thought of expultion or suspention if we acted out in the slightest. It would be an honor to stand by you and make these barrier breaking decisions. I leave this up to you to consider with careful consideration. Pave ways and Making a splash.
Counting on you,
Your Students.

a) “Ladies and g-g-g-gentlemen, thank you all for j-j-j-joining me today.” Mary buried her face in her hands. She had not asked for this. After her father passed away, she had inherited his automotive company. She was not in charge of a company that employed thousands and thousands of people. All of these people livelihoods now rested on her shoulders. All these people were counting on her to lead them, and she could not even provide them with a stutter free sentence.
b) She had one hour before she had to deliver the most important speech of her life. She was worried that if she messed this up, she would ruin the company. She had no idea how right she was. If this speech did not go well many of her employees would not respect her. She would be faced with many of the distract managers feeling that they could do a better job than Mary and attempt to usurp power. This would lead to a decline in productivity, worker strikes, massive layoffs, and the downfall of the company. She had to inspire her workers with this speech, or the company was doomed.
c) “Ladies and g-g-g-g-g-gentlemen….” Mary just wanted to cry. Her stutter always got worse when she was nervous. She never seemed to be able to control it without her dad’s help. She remembered when her dad would try to help her. Her favorite time was fifteen years ago around Christmas time. They were making Christmas cookies and she was having a hard time saying “jingle bells.” When she got frustrated her dad held her in his arms and had her sing “Jingle Bells.” She did not know why, but when the words were set to music she could do it.
d) Mary’s eyes grew wide. That was the answer: Music! She scrambled thought her notes. It was not perfect, but she could set the speech to music in here head. She cleared her throat and bobbed her head like it was a metronome. She took a deep breath, smiled, and said “Ladies and gentleman, thank you for joining me here today.”

"We are completely lost," said Penrose with a sigh. "We'll never make it to the conference hall in time for the chess tournament."
"You are such a pessimist," Escher chided her brother. "The first match doesn't start for thirty minutes. Surely we'll find the right room by then. The tournament can't go on without you, anyway—you're the main attraction!"
"Every floor in this building looks the same," remarked Mobius. "It's like some kind of practical joke by the architect."
"Let's try the stairs," Penrose suggested. He led the others to the staircase and began climbing.
"Is this the third floor or the fourth floor?" asked Escher, her voice echoing loudly in the stairwell.
"This looks like the first floor," Mobius replied with a frown. "How can that be? We've been climbing up for at least two flights."
"Someone just sent me a text message," said Penrose. "Maybe it's from one of the tournament organizers." I snuck into the Blivet Hotel and removed all the signs in the building to guarantee that you'll never make it in time, read the message. All who saw it that day thought it was cool
Worms was what was lacking - and that was all
So I dug around until bait was had
Slimy things fishing worms, just a gross ball,
But it's a thing for bringing fish to hand
So slipping out a school room door that day-
Two boys, a can of worms, a fishing plan -
Until Mrs Smith then caught on to our play
And stuck a hand into our wormy can
Sounds that I did not know - but did Mrs Smith
